Non-desk workers who are out and about during their work day.
Goals
Provide an easy way for users to communicate without the need to be looking at the chat stream.
Problem
In the Pronto app, communication was primarily text-based, which created barriers for users in situations where typing was inconvenient or impossible. Members who were on the go or multitasking struggled to find time to type messages out. This led to delayed responses, incomplete messages, and missed opportunities for connection. Without an easy, hands-free option for sending messages, conversations often felt less engaging and slower.
Solution
We wanted to make sending voice-based communication as simple and natural as talking in person, offering users a quick, hands-free way to share their thoughts without losing nuance or personality.
With an intuitive interface and seamless recording controls, anyone can easily capture and send an audio message with just a few taps. Users can also re-record before sending, ensuring clarity in every message. Once sent, audio clips remain part of the message stream, making it easy to revisit important details and information.

Support for this feature will include all platforms (iOS, Android, and Web). Even though audio messages is expected to be used mainly on mobile, full support will be included for web.
